code, code, code, all day long!

I'm still working to get the site up, but it's much different than it was for the last post. I'm starting to use ImageReady for most of the rollovers and affects, and as I'm learning as I'm creating, things are always changing as I'm working. I'm pretty close to getting things finalized. I have at least 3-4 pages finalized and written into code. I've also found a couple of snippets of JavaScript and CSS that I've added to spice things up!

I actually finished the other first version, but that was to satisfy requirements for a class. I didn't think that it should be used for a resume site, as it kinda sucked! I've opted for a style that reflects my style of art as well as the front end of clean web design. I'm a huge fan of what's being produced from nothing but CSS these days. It's very precise, easy to read, and a breeze to navigate.

I still like a good bit of the functionality that JavaScript provides though. It seems a bit more dynamic in comparison. The nice thing about the CSS sites is that they are very light on the coding. It doesn't take too much for the site to load. Java is a little more intense. Although I've been discovering that well optimized pages in ImageReady are pretty fast loaders; it just takes a bit more diligence to reduce the size.
